Hello All!

Time to get a bit more transparent on the wiki- so lets have a little.... WIKI UPDATE! (And it was super effective)!

So Here is the list:

1. Featured Article

This month's featured article (in Mid May) the GFD (or also know as the Global Farming Department). This page was created after McPeachPies made a video as part of his Gamemode 4 Public Server series - and has been lovingly updated by some of the wiki staff and some of its creators. Go check of McPeachPies Video and the wiki page. It is really awesome :) Also - if you have a suggestion for a featured article, leave a comment below with what it is and why!

2. Poll

The latest poll has been released and this week it is all about what your favorite custom module achievement is. Go vote! If you have a suggestion- Leave it in the comments!

3. Technical Update

Some of the wiki staff who have a good knowledge in the more in-depth side of Wikia have made great progress on some time saving tweaks to Templates. One major advancement is auto updating info-boxes. Previously, if information was change on a page that was translated, someone would have to change it on every other page- this will soon be no more... so look forward to the future of easy wiki editing :)

4. Personal Updates

ToffeeMax: I will be less active then usual in the next few weeks- If I am needed really urgently, ping me via email or twitter

Kroppeb: I will be less active due to exams :)

I have just started the trend of wiki pages of the month with Sweethearts- It seemed best fit since latest module. Then we will start voting again next month (from around either the start of April or the 19th of April)

Yes, you read that right. After a five month pause, the weekly polls on the front page are coming back! Pretty much everything remains the same, the only change is that polls will now be changed on Sunday instead of Friday.

So, as many of you know, Sparks is currently in the process of streaming him updating Custom Terrain for 1.9. Nothing unusual, right?

Well, what really caught my eye is that Bluefire submitted a new structure, which Sparks actually did convert for Custom Terrain. This might mean that Sparks plans to create and release a new dungeon and/or structure pack. And perhaps your structure could make it there!

Now before you start making and sending in your creations, there is something you should know. The custom structures are created using /fill commands. This means that the more complicated your structure is, the more fill commands it is going to take to create it. Of course, you should make your creation look, so try to find a compromise between detail and simplicity.

If you have created a structure and want to send it to Sparks, the easiest way is to tweet AccidentalGames or make a thread on the 1.9 Update Suggestion Board.

All pages will be updating to the new page standards this week. Please refer to the Page Standard when updating or editing pages. The template is quite volatile at the moment when the page is editied in the standard editor for the infobox tabber - I am working on a fix for this.

Hey guys, just letting you know that both these domains are down at the moment as I do some maintainance. During this time the gamemode 4 website will not be useable, sorry about that.

I WILL ALSO PROBABLY NOT RECEIVE EMAILS SENT IN THIS TIME.

I'll update this thread when the changes have been completed, which will hopefully take less than 24 hours.

You heard it - we are opening staff applications again. The form says most of the details so I won't bother to list them here.

If you apply you should hear back from me in a week at most. Make sure you read everything on the form, and don't lie :P

A while ago, technical details were added for a few pages. This was a great idea, however takes a lot of time and knowledge. Before 1.9 is released, I would like technical details to be added for ALL module pages. I will also try to add some to the simpler modules :)

Thanks to anyone willing to help - I might have a reward for those of you who do!

Just now I released the new community achievement tracker! It will track the number of edits you make on articles with the "community" category on.

Whilst I was at it I added pictures to the tutorial edit tracker achievements. Enjoy them - it took a while!

I have also added some changes to chat settings which should make your chat experience even better! :)

Today I released the 'Tutorials Edit Track' achievements! They will work just like the normal edits achevements, but they only count edits done on articles in the category 'tutorials'. I will add proper pictures to them as soon as I get a chance.

Please also suggest any ideas you have for other edit tracks I can add.
